Somewhere between here and there, you will find The Whitinos' tracks in the sand.  What's that supposed to mean?  Hell, we don't know.  We just thought it sounded cool.

The Whitinos are an Interstate 35 band, homebased in Minneapolis and San Antonio.  the Minnesota/Texas connection lends itself to a unique blend of blues, rock, jazz, and roots that you can't help but notice.

Jim Beal of the San Antonio Express-News once wrote that The Whitinos "sound like a cross between John Lee Hooker and R.L. Burnside fronting a slowed down Big Drag."
