It is said that the Mad Arab Abdul Alhazared, created Brian Annett by mixing the blood of Gene Simmons and Jaco Pastorius with the flesh of a circus freak.  The end result is a bassist of rare talent who has played regularly with such Minneapolis bands as King Size, Cryin' Shame, and Project 8.  He toured with Inertia ('97-'98) and opened for TheDrifters in New York.  He has also performed in Texas with San Antonio's own Albert Garcia & Suprize Package (yep, that's how they spell it).  One of his fondest memories was sitting in with Freddie Fender and Flaco Jimenez at Billy Blues in 1996.

Brian is currently playing with 8 Foot 4 which is busy tearing up many a stage in Minnesota.

With such diverse influences as Stanley Clarke, Bootsy Collins, Gene Simmons, Nikki Sixx, and Jimmy Anton, Brian has become the type of player that leaves audiences gasping.  Many musicians in Texas who've heard him say, "That boy kicks ass."

He sure does.
